Built for Real-World Commercial Demands

Indoor aquatic facility with water slide built by Regal Pools

Commercial pools live a different life than residential ones. They run longer hours, serve far more bathers, and answer to a stack of codes a backyard pool never has to touch — Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) water-quality and safety standards, ADA accessible-entry requirements, federal anti-entrapment drain regulations, and local fencing and enclosure law.

We design and build for HOAs and community associations, apartment and multifamily developments, hotels and resorts, fitness centers and gyms, and municipal, school, and aquatic-center clients. Every project starts with a feasibility and bather-load conversation, moves through a custom 3D design, and is engineered and permitted specifically for your site — not adapted from a generic template.

ADA accessible entry — ramps, transfer walls, and lift-ready equipment pads designed into the plan, not bolted on later.

Permitting & HOA coordination handled — local health department, municipal, and HOA architectural review managed for you.

Section 13 15 00 ready — specifications formatted for direct submission to any design or engineering firm.

Codes & Compliance

Built to the Codes Your Pool Actually Has to Pass

Commercial pools in Texas answer to a different rulebook than residential ones. Regal Pools designs and builds to these standards from the first drawing — not as a punch-list item at the end.

Texas DSHS Chapter 265

Public pools and spas in Texas are regulated under Title 25, Chapter 265, Subchapter L of the Texas Administrative Code — covering water chemistry, circulation, main drain visibility, and Class A/B/C pool classification. We design and build to these standards and coordinate with your Certified Pool Operator (CPO) on handoff.

ADA Accessible Entry

Public pools are required to provide an accessible means of entry — a sloped entry, transfer wall, or pool lift. We design accessible entry into the pool shell and deck layout from the start, not as an afterthought.

Pool Yard Enclosure Law

Texas Health and Safety Code Chapter 757 sets fencing standards for pool yards — minimum barrier height, self-closing and self-latching gates, and latch placement. Enclosure design is built into every commercial plan we submit.

Federal Anti-Entrapment Standards

All public pool and spa drains must use compliant anti-entrapment covers under federal law. Every suction outlet and main drain on a Regal commercial pool is specified and installed to meet current requirements.

Permitting & HOA Review

Commercial pool plans require local health department and municipal plan review, in addition to any HOA or property management approval. We manage submittals, corrections, and inspections across Harris, Montgomery, and Fort Bend counties.

Structural Engineering

Commercial pools see far higher bather loads than residential ones. Every Regal commercial project gets a site-specific structural engineering plan — not a generic drawing reused across properties.

Our Process

How a Regal Commercial Project Comes Together

A structured process built around the realities of commercial timelines, budgets, and approvals.

1

Consultation & Feasibility

We evaluate your property, intended bather load, budget, and timeline to confirm the project is feasible before any design work begins.

2

Site Analysis

Soil conditions, drainage, access, and existing infrastructure are assessed to inform an accurate design and estimate.

3

Custom Design & 3D Rendering

A site-specific design and 3D rendering, built around your property’s use case — leasing appeal, guest experience, or competitive swimming.

4

Engineering & Permitting

Structural engineering, DSHS submittal, local permitting, and HOA or property management review are managed on your behalf.

5

Excavation & Steel

Precision excavation and rebar framework installed to the site-specific engineering plan.

6

Gunite Shell Construction

High-pressure gunite sprayed over the steel framework to form a permanent, code-compliant pool shell.

7

Finishing, Equipment & Safety Features

Interior finish, decking, accessible entry, fencing, drain covers, and commercial-grade circulation and filtration systems installed and tested.

8

Commissioning & Handoff

Final inspection, water chemistry startup, and a full walkthrough with your Certified Pool Operator or pool management provider.
